Three Things I Can’t Live Without:
1. My cell phone.  Because I attend college so far away from my family, my phone helps me stay in close contact with those far away.      2. My Family and Friends ? They have given me s much support...I would not be where I am today without their love and support.    3.  Diet Coke and McDonalds ? I can hear our team nutritionist going crazy right now... but I have to be honest, I love a post game meal of McDonalds and Diet Coke.

Q. Why I Chose University of Vermont:
A-  I came because of the Basketball team and the coaching staff.  When I visited UVM, it was like they were family.  And it is true...we are like a family.  It includes the players, the coaches, the support staff, the fans and the Burlington community.  At times, it feels like to me that I never left home.  I also liked the business school here at UVM.  It is top notch and I have really learned a lot.

Q. Favorite class and why:
A- I took a Debate class that I really liked a lot.  I took the class because I wanted class that has a totally different culture and environment.  I was very challenged intellectually like I had never been before.  I was able to go to the debate tournament representing UVM and in the process met a lot of very smart and intelligent people.

Q. One thing I have learned at UVM that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is:
A-  I have learned how to live life with no regrets.  When you give the things that you do your very best, then there are no regrets.  I believe that things happen for a reason and what has happened in the past shapes who you are in the present and who you will be in the future.

Q. My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is:
A- My dream job is to be a mother.  I can not wait to provide for my family and to have the opportunity to teach my children about life.  I am looking forward to providing them with all the opportunities that my parents gave my siblings and I.

Q. The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why:
A-  My sister, Sophie, has had a profound impact on me.  She was always there for me, through the good times and the bad.  She will praise me when I do well and gives it to me straight when things haven’t gone well.  She keeps me grounded, giving me advise on every aspect of my life.  She makes me a better person everyday.

Q. The best thing about being a Vermont Catamount is:
A- I think that the very best thing is the support of the community.  I have made some great and long lasting friendships with the fans and I will never forget the impact they have had on me as a student-athlete here at UVM.

Q. Most memorable moment as an athlete:
A- I will never forget the very first game I started as a freshman here at UVM.  I surprised my whole family that day because they had no idea that I was going to start. For so long we talked about how happy I would be if I got to play just 5 minutes my entire freshman year.  I am very fortunate and appreciative of the experience I had that game and the entre season.

Q. What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall):
A- With all the games we have been having, we have been traveling a lot during the mid-week and I have had much work to make up because of all the missed classes I have been having.  I am working hard to stay all caught up.  I have quite a few tests and projects due next week so all of my free time will be spent on that.

Q. What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games):
A-  We just came off a disappoint loss so we have spent a lot of time as a team regrouping and refocusing as a team, moving forward so that we can do better the next game.  The next game we did come out strong and played a great game.  But, there is no time to relax yet because we heve yet another game in a few days to get prepared for.

Q. Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is:
A- The message I would pass along is to never let anyone tell you that you are not good enough or that you can’t accomplish something.  You have it in you to get where you want and in the end, you will realize that you are the one that has the power to determine how far you go.

Q. Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship:
A-  I’m looking forward to redeeming ourselves from the past two tournaments.  We had such high hopes and it was disappointing not to get to the finals.  I think in the past we lacked the experience of playing for such high stakes but this year I know we have that experience so things are going to be different.  We should be a more mature team and ready to live up to our high preseason rankings.  I am really excited for the tournament this year.
