Q. Why I Chose UMBC:
A-  I chose UMBC because it is great academic institution and the location is close, but not too close to my home. I believe that the coaches here believe in me and will push me to be the best I can be.

Q. Favorite class and why:
A- It’s between Phed 202 and Management because I want to be a CEO in the future and both classes are teaching me how to be a better leader/motivator for groups of people trying to reach a common goal.

Q. One thing I have learned at UMBC that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is:
A- You have to fight through adversity to get what you want because nothing will be given to you.

Q. My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is:
A- Becoming a CEO of a major sports or health facility.

Q. The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why:
A-  Coach Mike from IMG Sports Academy. He told me if I want to work, I’m going to have to work, basically meaning if I want to be a professional, you always have work to do and I apply that to everything I do.

Q. The best thing about being a UMBC Retriever is:
A- We represent this great university and we get the opportunity to reach the national stage every year. That black and gold looks good on me!

Q. Most memorable moment as an athlete:
A-Scoring almost 50 points in a game during my one year of junior college. That feeling was amazing because after the first three shots went it, I got a boost of energy and I was just a problem the whole night.

Q. What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall):
A-I had study hall for 10 hours this week, two hours each day. I have two classes each day, except for Friday when I only have economics. No assignments are due yet so I’m just getting familiar with my syllabus and text books.

Q. What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games):
A- We had a game on Monday so there was shoot-around at noon and the game at 7:00. We had practice on Thursday to prepare for Maine and practice on Friday before we left UMBC for Maine.

Q. Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is:
A- The use of knowledge is power so your school work is vital to becoming a successful person. Athletics keeps you healthy and builds the people-to-people skills you need throughout your life so I urge everyone to get involved.

Q. Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship:
A- I feel we have two first team America East players. When the America East championship comes around, we will be ready to defend .
