Q: Three things I can’t live without:
A: My family, summer, my iPod
Q: Why I chose Binghamton University
A: I chose Binghamton because when I came to visit I had a great time with
the team. I love the campus and the dorms, and the facilities at the events
center. Also, I felt that it was a good distance from home.
Q: Favorite Class and Why?
A: My favorite classes are my English classes. I love analyzing stories and
poetry. I also think that English classes are more relaxed and laid back.
Q: One thing I have learned at Binghamton University that I will carry with me
for the rest of my life is?
A: At Binghamton I’ve learned to stay strong in the face of adversity, no
matter what.
Q: My Dream Job, other than the WNBA
A: I would love to not have to work at all when I grow up. To be able to
travel and see the world would be more fulfilling to me than any job.
Q: The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is,
and why
A: My mother’s father has had the most influence on me. He taught me to
always work my hardest in order to bring out the best in me.
Q: The best thing about being a Binghamton Bearcat is:
A: The best thing about being a Bearcat is the fan support. I think the
community does a great job supporting both our men’s and women’s teams.
Q: Most memorable moment as an athlete:
A: Coming back from a 17 point deficit two years ago against Boston
University and going to the semi finals.
Q: What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall):
A: Monday I had three classes, Biology, Chemistry and English. Tuesday I
had study hall and two classes, Romanticism and Bio Lab. Wednesday was the
same as Monday, but Wednesday night I stayed up to study for a Chemistry test
that I had Thursday. Thursday I had Romanticism and Chem lab, then took my
Chem test a few hours later. Finally on Friday I had the same schedule as
Monday and Wednesday, and a couple more hours of study hall.
Q: What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games):
A: Monday we had lifting and practice, Tuesday we had practice and
Wednesday we had shoot around and a game against Vermont. Thursday and Friday
we had practice and lifting in order to prepare for our game on Saturday
against Albany.
Q: Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school
and athletics is
A: That school comes first, and that time management is so important to
being able to balance academics and athletics.
Q: Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship
A: I’m looking forward to the championship because it is the most exciting
time of the season. It is what every player on every team has been working
hard for, and it’s a great time to prove yourself in the conference.
