Three Things I Can’t Live Without:
1.  I couldn’t do without basketball.  It is what I love to do.  I think that it is the greatest game in the world.    2. My music is very important to me.  It puts you into your own world...your own zone.  Music really helps me when I’m feeling down.  It helps pick me up and gets me going.    3. Family and Friends ? They are important to me because they are always there for you no matter what happens.

Q. Why I Chose University of Vermont:
A-  First off, UVM is an excellent school academically.  That was very important to me.  When I made my visits I found the people to be very friendly.  The community is very into UVM basketball and it is fun to go to a game where there are 3000 cheering fans.

Q. Favorite class and why:
A- I really enjoy my business classes.  I find the subject material to be interesting and it applies to all that I want to do when I graduate.  Business is a great major.  It is hard and challenging, but very rewarding as well

Q. One thing I have learned at UVM that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is:
A- Excellence is something that must be practiced everyday at all times.  It doesn’t just apply to basketball.  Excellence applies to everything that you do.  To maximize your potential, you have to want to be the best at everything that you do.

Q. My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is:
A- I would really love to be a sports agent.  For my career, I don’t want to stray too far from the field of athletics.  Being an athlete myself, I feel that I would be able to relate to my potential clients in very important ways.

Q. The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why:
A- My bother has influenced me a lot.  He has gone through so much in his life and this has enabled him to share with me a wealth of knowledge.

Q. The best thing about being a Vermont Catamount is:
A- Here in Burlington, it is a very tight knit community.  It is a relatively small community and everyone recognizes you.  They know who you are and what kind of game you had last.  It is fun for people to recognize you as being an important part of the community.

Q. Most memorable moment as an athlete:
A-  It was a very big deal to me to receive my first athletic scholarship.  It confirmed to me that my hard work had paid off and that I was being recognized for being good at something that I worked very hard at.

Q. What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall):
A-  I had class every day last week as well as having 6 hours of study hall to fulfill.  I haven’t had any tests or quizzes yet but I have two take-home quizzes due in math this week as well as a test due next week.  My tests are coming up fast so I have to start preparing for them now.

Q. What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games):
A- This week was very busy.  We had two games this week so there was a lot of preparation for that.  We watched a lot of game films to learn what we need to improve on.  We had practice every day that we didn’t have a game.  Even though we are in our competitive season, we are still going to strength and condition so that we continue to get stronger.  In addition, I have to spend some time in the training room each day to get ready to practice.

Q. Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is:
A-    You need to not lose sight of how important your school work is.  I’m here at UVM, a really top notch school, not just because of basketball but because I had good grades.  So, don’t underestimate the power of good grades.  The effort you put into your school work will benefit you in the long run.

Q. Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship:
A- I am looking forward to winning the America East Championship.  It is a goal of our team to perform to a level that allows us to do that.  Of course, the benefit than becomes a chance to play in the NCAA tournament.  I look forward to that a lot.
