Three Things I Can’t Live Without:
1.My Cell Phone ? I love talking with my friends and family.  Texting is something that I like to do and I do it a lot.  Also, when we are on the road traveling to away games, I like to play cell phone games because it helps to pass the time quickly.    2. My family and friends ? My family and close friends are always there to support me when I need it.  They always make me feel so happy when they are around.  I like it when the visit me because I can always count on having a good time.    3. A fresh pair of shoes ? Shoes are my favorite article of clothing and I love having and wearing a fresh pair to wear.

Q. Why I Chose University of Vermont:
A-  I grew up in Vermont and I liked the idea of staying in Vermont so that my family and friends could easily come to visit me and see me play.  UVM had an academic major that I was interested in so that was encouraging to me.  Burlington is a fun college town and I enjoy what it has to offer.

Q. Favorite class and why:
A- I am taking an athletic training class called “Care and Prevention.” In this class we learn about all the different injuries that occur to athletes.  Then we discuss ways in which these injuries can be prevented and the modalities that we use to care for them.  The professor is a great teacher and the class is always fun.

Q. One thing I have learned at UVM that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is:
A- Even when things, at first, don’t seem to be going your way...it is so important to always give your best.  The hard work that you put does pay dividends in the long run so never give up.

Q. My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is:
A- What I have always dreamed about doing is becoming a Physical Education teacher in my home town and coaching a girls’ basketball team.

Q. The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why:
A- My grand parents have had a tremendous influence on me.  They have put a lot of time and effort into developing the person and player that I am today.  They are always there for me.  I own them a great deal of gratitude for all that they have done for me.

Q. The best thing about being a Vermont Catamount is:
A- The very best thing is that I get UVM and play for my home state.  This is a great honor for me and the impact that this program has on our state community is not lost on me.

Q. Most memorable moment as an athlete:
A- I was on a team in high school that won our state championship.  The individuals on that team were the most amazing people in the world and it was quite an honor for me to have been their teammate.  I think that will always remember that moment.

Q. What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall):
A-I had classes every day this week.  Most days I have two or three classes to attend.  This doesn’t sound like very much but I also have homework that needs to be done.  I have practice to go to...both as a team and individual workouts.  There is study hall to attend in the evening.  This week we had a shoot around before a game that we had on Thurs.  There is strength and condition that we regularly attend as well as going to the training room and meeting as a team to go over game films.  So my days are very busy,

Q. What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games):
A-   This week was a busy week because we had a home game on Thurs so the entire week revolved around that.  We had practice and strength/condition on Mon and Tues.  We had a very short practice and a shoot around on Weds.  Our home game was on Thurs.  Then on Friday I first had an individual workout in the morning and in the afternoon we had team practice.

Q. Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is:
A- I think that both your academic and athletic endeavors are equally important.  Both feed off of each other.  You cannot achieve your best in life if you are not academically prepared.  Likewise, the skills you learn in athletics...hard work...sacrifice...dedication, etc. are all things that you can use to help to achieve your goals.

Q. Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship:
A-   I have never been to an America East Championship so I’m very excited to experience it.  Most importantly, I’m looking forward to having my teammates with me to experience it with.
