Q. Why I Chose Stony Brook University:
A- I chose Stony Brook University because the coaching staff did a great job recruiting me. They told me so much about the campus and about life as a student-athlete at Stony Brook. I wanted to go to a school where I would be happy and I could tell Stony Brook was the right place for me on and off the court after the recruiting process.
Q. Favorite class and why:
A- I’ve really liked all of my classes at Stony Brook so far. We meet with our academic advisor, Courtney, to pick classes and she works hard to find classes that fit each of our learning styles. She’s pointed me in the right direction in terms of classes to take and she’s been right every time. She’s the best in the business.

Q. What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall):
A- We just started the spring semester today so I’ve only been to a few classes. I made sure to get all of my books before the semester so I could get a good start and get ahead since we will miss classes for games. I like my schedule this semester and am excited about the classes.
Q. What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games):
A- This week as an athlete has been good. We beat Hartford on Sunday after beating Albany on Friday. Last week was the last week of Winter Break so now we’re back into a routine of classes, lifting, study hall, and practice. It’s going to be busier, but it’s good to get back into a routine.
