CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- Boston University's Cori Lefkowith (Clayton, Mo./Clayton) has been named America East Women's Tennis Performer of the Week, while Binghamton's Faisal Mohamed (Lynbrook, N.Y./Lynbrook) earned Men's Performer of the Week accolades for the week ending March 17.

Lefkowith, a junior, went 3-0 in singles play last week with straight-set wins against No. 41 Florida International, Temple and Florida Atlantic. Lefkowith, who has won four straight matches, also picked a victory at second doubles against Florida Atlantic.

Mohamed, a senior,  led the Bearcats to a 7-0 win over St. Bonaventure with wins at the top singles and doubles. With his straight-set singles win, Mohamed moved into a tie for second in career victories with 74, just 12 shy of Binghamton’s all-time leader. He is currently ranked 20th in the ITA Northeast rankings.
