A: I chose UAlbany because of the family oriented atmosphere that the team possessed. I really enjoyed my visit to campus and I really liked the team. I thought it would be a good fit for me both academically and athletically. I am very happy with my decision to attend UAlbany because I enjoy both basketball and my academics.

A: My favorite class is industrial/organizational psychology because it is about different behaviors in the workplace and job evaluations. I think these are things that are important to know as I continue on after college in a working environment. Knowing the meaning behind certain behaviors in the workplace will give me a better understand of how to interact with different types of people.

A: One thing I have learned at UAlbany that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is time management skills. I have really learned to balance basketball with my academics and a social life. Thankfully, being a part of athletics has taught me the importance of balancing different facets of my life.

A: My dream job, other than the WNBA is to be a real estate investor. At this point, the job seems very interesting and if you work hard and do well, you can become very financially successful in this field.

A: The person, other than my parents who has had the most influence on me is Dr. Creflo Dollar. He is a minister and his books have helped me in my spiritual life tremendously.

A: The best thing about being a UAlbany Great Dane is the atmosphere in which I go to school and play basketball. UAlbany is a great place to go to school and I have learned many things that I will carry with me after my time in college. I love my team and the family atmosphere that it presents.

A: My most memorable moment as an athlete is playing in my high school All-Star game. Although I have many fond memories of my playing days in college, I am hoping that we win the America East Conference title so I can say that is my most memorable moment as an athlete.

A: Since we are on winter break, there is no schoolwork until January 23rd. When school is in session, I always go to class, take notes, study for exams, write papers, and attend study hall.

A: Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is to make sure you keep up your grades because there is no athletics without academics! It is important to maintain a good grade point average throughout your time in college because after all, you go to college to earn a degree. That degree is what you carry with you beyond graduation. More often than not, competitive sports are over and it’s important to have good grades and a degree to carry you forward.
