Q: Why I Chose UAlbany...
A: I chose UAlbany because of the good people I could surround myself with. My basketball team is truly my family and I am so glad that I made the decision to come to UAlbany to be a part of this special family environment.

 

Q: Favorite class and why...
A: My favorite class is English because I love to read and I also really enjoy writing.


Q: One thing I have learned at UAlbany that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is...
A: One thing that I have learned at UAlbany that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is that people have a way of coming into your life momentarily and positively impacting your life forever.

 

Q: My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is...
A: My dream job, other than the WNBA is to be the second female president of the United States.


Q: The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why...
A: The person other than my parents who has had the most influence on me is my Grandma Vi because she is so strong minded and so full of life that it is inspiring to anyone and everyone she meets.


Q: The best thing about being a UAlbany Great Dane is...
A: The best thing about being a UAlbany Great Dane is the cool gear we get. It is great to be able to represent a school and team that you are so proud of.


Q: Most memorable moment as an athlete...
A: My most memorable moment as an athlete was last year when we beat Siena by twenty and earned the Albany Cup.


Q: What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall)...
A: This week as a student I wrote a paper for my social policy class. I read a lot of articles, and I applied to grad school here at UAlbany for the program in Social Welfare.


Q: What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games)...
A: This week as an athlete I have been rehabbing my knee because I tore my ACL earlier this season. I also cheered on my teammates in our big win against Maine!


Q: Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is...
A: Don’t be afraid to dream and to dream BIG. Whatever you want to be you can be as long as you put your heart, soul, and energy into it. Stay enthusiastic and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.


Q: Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship...
A: I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship because I truly believe that my team will be in the championship game. We have the drive and we will not be denied!
