Q: Three Things I Can’t Live Without...
A: 1.Food 2.Friends and family 3. Basketball

Q: Why I Chose UMBC...
A: It is a good school both academically and in sports. The campus is nice and the location is good too. I did not know that much about the school before I came over here from Sweden. But so far, it has just been positive.

Q: Favorite class and why...
A: Right now it is my History - Western civilization class, mostly because the lectures are fun and interesting!

Q: One thing I have learned at UMBC that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is...
A: To always work hard and try to do my best.

Q: My Dream Job, other than the WNBA, is...
A: I really don’t know what my dream job is. Just something that is fun and where I will face new challenges each day. It is not bad if it also pays well

Q: The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why...
A: Other than my parents I think I get inspired from a lot of people, I can’t think of anyone in particular. I try to see things positive and learn from others at all times.

Q: The best thing about being a UMBC Retriever is...
A: Having a scholarship here is a great opportunity which I try to value each day by working hard in practice and taking care of my academics. The spirit here is good and it is great being a part of it.

Q: Most memorable moment as an athlete...
A: When I played for the Swedish U19 national team last summer and we placed second in the U19 World Championship in Slovakia.

Q: What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall)...
A: I tried to catch up with the school work I’ve missed because we have been on the road a lot the last weeks. A lot of test and assignment will be coming up soon! This week we’ll miss three days of school due to road trips, so I had to do readings and stuff on the trips. Outside of classes I have spent a lot of time in study hall working on some assignments.

Q: What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games)...
A: We had a game at home on Saturday against Maine. We won! Then we had two days up to fully recover. On Tuesday we had practice at first and then went on the road to Stoony Brook. We won that game too, which was very fun. Tomorrow, Friday, we will get on the road again for our game at Binghampton on Saturday.

Q: Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is...
A: Just believe in yourself and your abilities and you will get a long way. Just try to work hard every day with practice, and do not forget your school work either. Sports are for fun, and even if you have the goal to become a professional, you always should have an education to fall back on, anything could happen. Just keep being positive, and all your hard work will pay of at the end, I promise!

Q: Why I am looking forward to the America East Women’s Basketball Championship at the Sports Center in Hartford on March 13-16...
A: This will be my first Championship, and since the girls won it the last year I am extra excited. We have a very young team this year, but a lot of talent. We are playing better and better for each game, and I think we will have a good chance to do something great this year too.
