Q: Three Things I Can’t Live Without...
A: 1. Family / Friends 2. Xbox 3. Computer

Q: Why I Chose Boston University...
A: I chose Boston University because I knew it was the right place for me. When I came here on my official visit I felt very comfortable that Boston University had everything that I was looking for in a college.

Q: Favorite class and why...
A: My favorite class is management because we go over case studies and look at different businesses that have failed and succeeded in the past. It is also a very interactive class.

Q: One thing I have learned at BU that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is...
A: The one thing I learned at BU that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is that nothing comes easy. You have to work for everything that you get whether that is school, basketball, or relationships. They all take a lot of work, and will all go downhill if you do not keep working at them.

Q: My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is...
A: My dream job other than playing professional basketball would be to run my own company.

Q: The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why...
A: The person that has had the most influence on me other than my parents is probably a basketball player named Mike Piwerka. He used to play professional basketball over in Europe until he needed surgery on his ankle which prevented him from going back. He taught me the skills I needed to know in order to be recognized by the teams I was in order to get my scholarship. He was also a perfect example of my parents’ lessons that you always need a back up plan.

Q: The best thing about being a BU Terrier is...
A: The best thing about being a BU Terrier is that I get to represent such a great school, play the sport I love to play, and receive a great education at the same time.

Q: Most memorable moment as an athlete...
A: I believe that the most memorable moment in my career so far would either be signing the letter of intent to Boston University or playing overseas as a co captain of the Canadian Junior National Team.

Q: What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall)...
A: This week, I woke up on Monday, I went to study hall for two hours after eating a meal, and then I went to practice. Once practice was done I had to rush down to the other end of campus for a night class that lasted until nine o’clock at night. After that I went back to my place to cook some dinner; then relaxed with some video games before going to sleep. We missed some classes on Tuesday due to a road trip to Maine. We are expected to catch up on the material missed due to games. Wednesday we missed classes too because we were still in Maine. After getting home at 2:30am on Thursday, we had to go to all of our classes that day, then study hall and practice.

Q: What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games)...
A: Monday was a regular day for us, practicing at 3until about 5:30. On Tuesday however, we had practice then hit the road for a trip to Maine. We stopped about half way up for a dinner at the Bugaboo Creek restaurant before continuing on our trip. Once we got there we had a little bit of time to relax before going over the scouting report. The next day we woke up at 8:30 to go practice at Maine’s gym and then came back to the hotel to eat and relax for a bit before having a walk through then pre-game meal. We headed off to the gym to get ready for the game. After the game we got right back on the bus for a long ride home.

Q: Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is...
A: If I had one message to pass along to younger kids striving to play the sport they love, it’s that sports are important if you love them. However, the ball will stop bouncing one day, so there is nothing more important in your life than education and your relationships with other people. Being able to play the sport that you love is just a bonus!

Q: Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship...
A: I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship because it is a great, high energy environment to play in. Everyone in that tournament is trying their hardest in order to win the championship. Every team wants to win that and go to the NCAA tournament. That is the dream that most D1 basketball players have.
