A: My favorite class here at UMBC is Philosophy with Professor Jim Thomas. The class is interesting and opens student’s minds to new ideas and possibilities. The professor is funny and relates to the students making it fun and easy to learn.

A: To understand people’s differences and to appreciate diversity. UMBC is incredibly diverse with people from various countries and backgrounds. I have learned a lot from the people that I have met here at UMBC.

A: To coach basketball. I love the game of basketball and hope to stay around the game by coaching.

A: My older brother, Chuck. He has not only taught me a lot about basketball but a lot about life. He has had a large impact on me on and off the court and is one of the main reasons I fell in love with basketball.

A: That there are so many people supporting the things that you do from the top offices down to your teammates. You have so many people that are behind you and there for you.

A: For me it was when the buzzer sounded at the end of the America East Championship game and we had won. That moment when we had just become champions is unforgettable.

A: This week as a student was fairly easy. Since our spring semester has not yet begun, I had the opportunity to focus on the athlete side of being a student-athletes.

A: This week as a student athlete I practiced everyday and had film sessions preparing for our two home conference games. I spent time with my teammates getting geared up for the games.

A: No matter what you are doing you should always work hard. Hard work pays off and it is evident in college that the people that are willing to put in the time and effort eventually are the ones that will succeed.

A: The opportunity to play our best basketball and have a chance to make noise like last year.
