A: I chose the University of Hartford because I wanted to get a great education. As far as basketball goes, the coaching staff made me feel like this was the right place for me, and I wanted to compete at the next level.

A: My dream job is to be a youth counselor. I want to be able to help out struggling kids.

A: All the coaches I’ve had through my life. Since I never had a father figure, each coach has filled that role. Lemuel Stinson, my AAU coach, is the one who stands out the most. He gave me confidence in my game and, most importantly, in life.

A: Being a part of a team and enjoying college life, especially the independence that comes with it.
Q: Most memorable moment as an athlete...
A: My first dunk in a varsity game. It came against the top-ranked team in the state. I took a pass in stride, jumped off one foot and threw it down over a defender. It’s still one of my favorite dunks.
Q: What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall)...
A: We’re not in session right now, but in a normal week, I generally have classes all morning and then study hall afterwards. We usually practice in the afternoon, so at night I get my work done and then have time to relax.
Q: What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games)...
A: We had Monday off and then came back for practice on New Year’s Day. Throughout the week we’ll lift, watch video and prepare for our next opponent. Saturday (my birthday) we play Yale, our final game before starting the America East schedule.

A: Stay and school and always try your hardest. If you work harder than the next person, good things will happen.

A: I want to win a championship. My team never won a state championship in high school, which was a goal of mine, so I’d like to experience that at the college level.
