Q: Three Things I Can’t Live Without...
A: 1. My phone/Ipod 2. My car 3. Family

Q: Why I Chose Stony Brook University...
A: I wanted to come to a school where I could be part of building a program. The academic reputation of Stony Brook is amazing ? we are ranked in the top 100 of the country. The location of the University allowed my parents and family to attend my games and I really liked the players and coaching staff.

Q: Favorite class and why...
A: I loved my Communication Skills class with Robbey Kinkade. We learned so much about the details of communication between people and how we will need that in the workplace, no matter which area of Healthcare we choose.

Q: One thing I have learned at Stony Brook that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is...
A: I really have learned to value every moment because it will be gone before you realize it. There were times in my first 3 and a half years here I’d love to get back, but I can’t and those moments go by so quickly.

Q: My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is...
A: I hope to own my own sports performance and rehabilitation center. I plan on getting my doctorate in Physical Therapy but first would like to work in the strength and conditioning field.

Q: The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why...
A: My grandma has influenced me the most. She has inspired me to do well and she has always been on my side. I would turn to her guidance and influence to make decisions in my life.

Q: The best thing about being a Stony Brook Seawolf is...
A: It’s amazing how much the people here care for each and every student-athlete. I’ve formed relationships with fellow student-athletes and staff here and I will miss being at Stony Brook when I graduate but I’ll always be a Seawolf.

Q: Most memorable moment as an athlete...
A: My most memorable moment was beating Temple who was ranked 19th in the country at that time. We played so well on our home court and that game will always stay in my mind. We made the post season that year so that capped off the season.

Q: What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall)...
A: I’m not in classes this winter break so I really just checked my grades on the computer. I did really well so I’m happy about that. I haven’t been in study hall since my freshman year because I did so well but I always go to the Goldstein Center or the Nasti Academic room to study because it’s such a great place to study.

Q: What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games)...
A: We played in a tournament at Lehigh so we had 2 games in three days. We lost the first game by 1 point and I was so mad we couldn’t pull that one out. We won our second game so we went 1-1 for the tournament. We’ve been preparing for Vermont because conference play starts on Saturday. We’re ready for this time of year ? it all begins now.

Q: Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is...
A: I would tell kids that if they really work their hardest when they are young, it will pay off. All that extra studying and shots in the gym or extra weight lifting sessions will pay off and they’ll have a great college athletic and academic experience. They just need to put the time in then to be successful later on in life.

Q: Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship...
A: This year’s America East Championships will be a culmination of my four years here at Stony Brook. It means a lot this year and I am looking forward to it. I also like the banquet because I love to eat.
