Q: Three Things I Can’t Live Without...
A: 1. IPod 2. Cell phone 3. Laptop

Q: Why I Chose UAlbany...
A: I chose UAlbany because I liked the campus environment and the team. When I came to campus to visit, I really liked all of the girls on the team and it felt very much like a family environment. I also liked the campus and what the school had to offer so I am very glad I chose to be a student-athlete at the University at Albany.

Q: Favorite class and why...
A: My favorite class is sociology because I get to learn about different cohorts of people and the way they exist in society. I really like the way my professor teaches the course. It is fun, interesting and interactive.

Q: One thing I have learned at UAlbany that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is...
A: One thing that I have learned at UAlbany that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is time management. As a student-athlete I have many responsibilities. I have to go to class, keep up with my academics, go to practice and travel to go to games. Learning how to manage my time and balance all of my responsibilities is challenging but these skills will carry over into different parts of my life after I graduate from college.

Q: My Dream Job, other than the NBA/WNBA, is...
A: My dream job would be to become a sports analyst. I would love to work in the sports industry and I think being a sports analyst would be fun.

Q: The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why...
A: The person, other than my parents who has had the most influence on me is my grandmother because she has strong beliefs and values. She has taught me the importance of hard work and persistence and she is very special to me.

Q: The best thing about being a UAlbany Great Dane is...
A: The best thing about being a UAlbany Great Dane other than getting to spend time with my teammates and friends every day is the free gear that we get.

Q: Most memorable moment as an athlete...
A: My most memorable moment as an athlete is when I played in the senior All-Start game in high school. Given that I am only a freshman at UAlbany, I don’t have any huge moments here as an athlete but I expect them to come in the future. I hope I’m able to accomplish a lot throughout my time here at UAlbany and I hope to have a better answer to this question by the time I graduate. I’d love to say that winning a conference championship is my most memorable moment as an athlete.

Q: What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall)...
A: Since we are on winter break right now, I didn’t have any responsibilities as a student, only as an athlete. During the academic year, my typical week as a student consisted of going to class, taking notes, studying for exams, writing papers  and completing assignments. As soon as winter break is over, I’m sure I’ll get back to the everyday responsibilities of being a student at UAlbany.

Q: What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games)...
A: Since I had minor surgery on my knee in the beginning of the season, I spent much of my week in rehab trying to get back to 100%. Now that I’m able to workout, I also spent time at practice with the team preparing for our upcoming games.

Q: Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is...
A: Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kinds about school and athletics is to always put school first and athletics second. This is important because in college, you cannot play sports if your grades aren’t good. I would also say to work hard on your skills, whether they are academic skills or athletically related skills. Developing a strong work ethic when you are young is important to be successful.

Q: Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship...
A: I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship because UAlbany is going to win! It is also going to be an exciting atmosphere and it will be great competition!
