Q: Three Things I Can’t Live Without...
A: 1. Family 2. Friends 3. God

Q: Why I Chose UAlbany...
A: I chose UAlbany because of the fact that Coach Brown was a young coach with a lot of potential and I saw the chance of making the NCAA tournament. I also liked the atmosphere of the campus. I felt that the University at Albany was a good fit for me both academically and athletically.

Q: Favorite class and why...
A: My favorite classes are Danish 101 and Danish 102 because I really like the professor and it is interesting learning another language other than your typical Spanish or French.

A: One thing that I have learned at UAlbany that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is that everything is a competition. You must be prepared to be challenged in all aspects of your life (athletically, academically) in order to succeed.

Q: The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me is, and why...
A: The people, other than my parents who have had the most influence on me are my sisters because they are always there for me and they always provide me with good insight to things going on in my life. Whenever I need advice on things they are always there to turn to and they help guide me in the right direction.

A: The best thing about being a UAlbany Great Dane is being a part of a team and making the NCAA Tournament back to back. It’s great to be a part of a family like environment every day and having success athletically just adds to the fun.

Q: Most memorable moment as an athlete...
A: My most memorable moment as an athlete would be playing in the NCAA Tournament. Some student-athletes never have the opportunity to go and we were able to go two years in a row. It was great to experience that after all of the hard work that was put in.

Q: What I did this week as a student (classes, tests, projects, study hall)...
A: Since we are on winter break and there are no academic responsibilities right now, I took it upon myself to study for the exam towards my MBA.

Q: What I did this week as an athlete (practice, games)...
A: This week as an athlete I practiced every day and watched film to prepare for the upcoming game against the University of Vermont. It will be an exciting matchup on Sunday given that we played them last year in the conference final game.

A: Based on my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is to take both seriously and to make athletics fun. It is going to be important to take your academics as seriously as your athletics because without good grades, you can’t play sports. It is also important that athletics are fun because if you get to a point where they are no fun anymore than you are playing for all of the wrong reasons.

Q: Why I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship...
A: I am looking forward to the America East Basketball Championship because I am looking forward to making the NCAA for a third year in a row!
