Former Hartford golf standout Jerry Kelly (+6) enters Sunday's final round of The Masters tied for eighth, just four strokes back of leader Stuart Appleby (+2).
In just his fifth Masters appearance, Kelly appears to be on pace to record the best finish of his career at the event. He finished tied for 20th in both 2002 and 2005.
The Wisconsin native has had a memorable weekend already as he fired a three-under 69 on Friday, which still stands as the third-best round of the 2007 event. Kelly was even during his round on Saturday, but tallied four bogeys and one double-bogey on the back nine to slide to +6.
