Binghamton women's tennis defeats NJIT 5-2 for third consecutive win
Seniors Zeynep Altinay (Ankara, Turkey) and Lya Kushnirovich (Brooklyn, N.Y.) each won their singles and doubles matches, leading Binghamton (9-1) to a 5-2 win over the New Jersey Institute of Technology (10-7) in a non-conference women's tennis match on Wednesday afternoon at the West Gym Courts. The Bearcats have now won three straight dual matches and their 9-1 record represents the best start in school history through 10 matches (the old record of 8-2 was held by the 1987-88 squad).
