Q:: Three things I can't live without...
A:: Basketball. Friends. Music.
Q:: Why I chose University of Vermont...
A:: The basketball program was very important. There is a lot of tradition with the program and I wanted to be a part of that. The location was good for me. It was not too far away from home where I can still get home easily, but far enough away from home where it felt like it was a new place. I like the college atmosphere here at UVM. It is the quintessential small college town ? not too big and not too small. And most importantly UVM has an excellent academic reputation. It is one of the best schools in New England...public or private.
Q:: Favorite class and why...
A:: My favorite class is history. I enjoy learning about history because I like studying about people from different cultures and different backgrounds. I like learning about events that occurred before my time. That helps me put into perspective what happens in today’s world.
Q:: One thing I have learned at Vermont that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is...
A:: I have learned about the importance of getting an education. This is important because after my competitive basketball days are over, I still have 60 years of my life to live and it’s my education that will get me through those years.
Q:: Other than playing in the NBA, my dream job is...
A:: My dream job would be a lawyer. I don’t know if I really want to become a lawyer, but I would like to play one on Law & Order.
Q:: Other than my parents, the person who has had the most influence on me is and why...
A:: My high school basketball coach had the greatest influence on me. He taught me that there are many things that are important in life in addition to basketball. He is still one of my best friends.
Q:: The best thing about being a Vermont Catmount is...
A:: I really like my teammates and the basketball family I have formed here. All the guys on the team get along so well. When I’m done with college I know that these guys will be my friends for life. Being a Catamount means building relationships that are going to last a life time.
Q:: Most memorable moment as an athlete...
A:: This year we had the great fortune of beating Boston College when they are ranked #14 in the country.
Q:: What I did this week as a student...

Q:: What I did this week as an athlete...
A:: We have won our last four games. Last Wednesday we had a double overtime win against UNH and tonight we play the third place team in the conference, Boston University. We haven’t played BU yet this year so it should be a good game. So in addition to our games, we have had practice every day. I had 2 strength and conditioning workouts with the team. Two days this week we reviewed with the coaching staff , films of the teams we are playing this week.
Q:: Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is...
A:: I have learned that if you work hard on and off the court, good things will come your way.
Q:: Why I am looking forward to the America East Men’s Basketball Championship at Agganis Arena in Boston on March 2-4...
A:: Boston is a great town and I always enjoyed visiting there. Since, up to this point in the season, we are doing so well, I think we have a good chance of winning the America East Conference and if we do then we get to play in the NCAA tournament.
