Q:: Three things I can't live without...
A:: God. Family. Food.
Q:: Why I chose University at Albany...
A:: I chose UAlbany because of the family atmosphere. On my recruiting visit I really liked the coaches and the family environment of the team. I knew UAlbany was an up and coming program and it was something that I wanted to be a part of. I also chose UAlbany because of their academic reputation. I thought the school had a wide variety of majors to choose from and I liked that.
Q:: Favorite class and why...
A:: My favorite class is race and culture because we talk about a lot of different topics related to some of the current events and things that are going on in the world today. Students in the class have the chance to debate with one another and offer their opinions on different things related to race and culture. I like having the opportunity to voice my opinions on important topics such as these.

A:: One thing I have learned at UAlbany that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is to always be early. This has taught me to manage my time better. By being early, I am allowing myself the opportunity to be prepared for whatever it is that I am doing.
Q:: Other than playing in the NBA, my dream job is...
A:: My dream job, other than the NBA is to own an NBA franchise. I think owning an NBA team would be great because the owners have to make more money than the players because they are paying the players. It would also be great to experience the business side of professional sports. The excitement that surrounds sport on any level is great, and I would love to be a contributing factor to a professional organization.

A:: The person, other than my parents, who has had the most influence on me, is my uncle because he always gives me good advice in life. Whether it is basketball or personal things, I can always look to him to give me reasonable advice.

A:: The best thing about being a UAlbany Great Dane is the fan support. The university and the city of Albany have shown our team tremendous support throughout the past two seasons. They are the people that fill the stands and make it exciting to play at home in SEFCU Arena. This support has made being a UAlbany Great Dane one of the most gratifying experiences.
Q:: Most memorable moment as an athlete...
A:: My most memorable moment as an athlete would have to be winning the America East Championship last year in front of a sold out crowd. Playing at home for the conference title was such a great experience, and I am glad we were able to capture the title on our home court and advance to the NCAA tournament.
Q:: What I did this week as a student...
A:: Since we had winter break last week, I didn’t have to attend class, but I did some studying and reading for assignments and tests that are due this week. On a normal week, I would have gone to class, read the material, taken notes, written papers, completed projects, and taken exams. I also would have had to attend study hall.
Q:: What I did this week as an athlete...
A:: This week as an athlete I practiced and played in our last two regular season conference games. I also lifted weights in the weight room. I am going to spend the remaining part of the week getting ready for the conference tournament this weekend in Boston.

A:: Based upon my experiences growing up, my advice for young kids about school and athletics is to find a healthy balance of both. Most kids want to play sports instead of going to school or doing schoolwork. I was no different as a kid. I realized as I got older that school is the most important thing and that I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to play basketball in college unless my grades were good enough to get me into school. Learning how to balance sports and academics is a key to being successful in college.
Q:: Why I am looking forward to the America East Men’s Basketball Championship at Agganis Arena in Boston on March 2-4...
A:: I am looking forward to the America East Men’s Basketball Championship at Agganis Arena in Boston this weekend because I am looking forward to the opportunity to win the conference title again. There are many good teams in the conference this year, so it is going to be a competitive environment to play in. Hopefully, all of the hard work and preparation will pay off and the UAlbany Great Danes will come away at another conference title and the chance to play in the NCAA tournament.
