A:: I have learned since being at Stony Brook that hard work and dedication is the key to success. Things may not come easy or when you want them, but if you continue to work hard and not give up, things will fall into place.

A:: My biggest influence is my older brother. He has shown me just how important hard work is. I look at him everyday and see the results of his dedication and hope that I can do that after graduation.

A:: The best thing about being a Stony Brook Seawolf is that you are ALWAYS a Stony Brook Seawolf. It is a lifelong part of who you are and it brings accolades with it wherever you go.

A:: The most memorable moment for me as a Stony Brook student-athlete was when we beat Boston University at the America East Tournament.

A:: This week is our first week of classes. Yesterday, I had one class that lasted three hours. It was the first day of class but we used the full time; I am looking forward to that class. Study hall will start tomorrow which will give me structured time in my day to fulfill my academic requirements.

A:: Saturday we practiced in the morning and then drove up to New Hampshire for our game on Sunday. Yesterday we had practice and lifting and started back to our routine during the academic semester - our practice schedule is pretty different when we have classes because we have to fit it in between taking 15 credits. During the winter break we just have practice, lifting and games (no school).

A:: Athletics can be such a great preparation for the future. Everything you learn on the court and all you do as part of a team can be used in life. Being a student-athlete and all that comes with it can prepare you for anything that comes your way.

A:: I am looking forward to the tournament because I want Stony Brook to win the whole thing and go on to the NCAA tournament.
