The 2003 America East Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22 at the new Boston University Track and Tennis Center on the Boston University campus.
The championship had been held at the historic Boston Armory for over a decade, prior to the facility closing at the conclusion of the 2002 season.
Each of the nine America East member institutions?University at Albany, Binghamton University, Boston University, University of Hartford, University of Maine, University of New Hampshire, Northeastern University, Stony Brook University and University of Vermont?will compete at the 2002 Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Last season, Northeastern won the men’s championship for a third-straight year while Boston University’s women’s team won for the third time in four years.
The America East Indoor Track and Field Championships are scored to six places for all events. The value of first through sixth place is recorded as follows: 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 1. All individual entries have the ability to score in the competition. One relay entry per institution may score.
