Hartford’s Dustin Wetherup (Oshawa, Ontario/RS McLaughlin) and Juliana Carrillo (Cali, Colombia/Colegio Bolivar) are the America East Men’s and Women’s Golfer of the Week, respectively. The accolades were announced Tuesday (April 25).

Wetherup led the Hawks at the Rutherford Invitational with three straight rounds of 77 to finish tied for 35th overall at 231. Hartford finished 14th-of-15 in a strong field.

Carrillo shot a round of 82 to finish tied for third overall at the Jack Leaman Women’s Championship over the weekend in Amherst, Mass. The tournament was shortened to one round due to rain on Sunday. The Hawks finished third overall, six shots behind tournament winner Middlebury College.
