Vinal shot 75-70 (+1) to tie for runner-up honors at the New England Championship this past weekend, helping the Bearcats place fifth in the field. Vinal lowered his season scoring average to 75.4.

Gibson won the championship at the Massachusetts State Invitational on April 22 and finished tied for 25th at the Northeast Championship on April 24. She won the Mass. State title by shooting a 79 and defeating Harvard’s Carrie Baizer on the first playoff hole. It is her first championship. She has finished in the top 25 in each of her seven tournaments this season.
