Boston University (women) and Binghamton (men) each dropped 4-0 decisions in the first round of the Division I Tennis Championships. Boston University was defeated by No. 15 Vanderbilt at Nashville Tenn., while Binghamton lost to No. 11 Minnesota at Minneapolis, Minn.
At Nashville, Vanderbilt improves to 19-5, while Boston University finished at 10-12 on the season.
At Minneapolis, Minnesota improved to 20-5 overall while Hartford fell to 17-10.
