The America East Television Network and MBC Teleproductions of Allentown, Pa. will partner to produce and distribute no fewer than 16 men's and women's basketball games this season. The syndicated network includes local over-the-air stations and sports cable outlets throughout the East.
Regional cable outlets slated to televise America East games this season include Madison Sqaure Garden Network (MSG), Fox Sports-New York, and MetroChannel in the New York City market; New England Sports Network (NESN) in all six New England states, Empire Sports Network throughout New York State; and Comcast SportsNet in Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
In addition, ESPN will televise live the men’s championship game for the 15th-straight year.
Bob Picozzi enters his sixth season as the lead play-by-play announcer for the America East TV Network for both men's and women's games. Former America East Player of the Year Ron Perry is the lead color analyst for the men's games. Doris Burke, Leah Secundo and Meghan Pattyson are some of the color analysts who have worked women's games in recent years. Mike Werteen is the senior producer/director.
