The America East TV Network will produce its first games of the 2001-02 season when Maine travels to Stony Brook on Sunday (January 6) for a men's-women's doubleheader.
The women's game, which begins at 1 p.m., will air live on Metro Channel in the New York market and WVII-TV (ABC-7) in the Bangor, Maine market.
The men's game, which tips off at 4 p.m., will air live on Fox Sports New York and WVII-TV (ABC-7) in the Bangor, Maine market.
Bob Picozzi, who returns for his fifth season with America East, handles the play-by-play for both games. Leah Secundo is the color analyst for the women's game, while former America East Player of the Year Ron Perry is the color analyst for the men's game.
Mike Werteen, the Senior Producer and Director for MBC Teleproductions in Allentown, Pa., is the Senior Producer of the America East TV Network. Paul Wieland also begins his fifth season with America East as Producer/Director.
