Men's Lacrosse 3/2/2026 2:00:00 PM #AEMLAX Week 4: Binghamton, UMBC & Vermont Come Away with Wins BOSTON – Last week Binghamton, UMBC and Vermont all earned wins last week as non-conference action is in full force. Need to Know: UMBC outscored Mount St. Mary 6-2 in the fourth to come away with a 7-4 victory, before falling 14-10 to Towson on Friday evening. Binghamton secured a 12-6 win over Mercyhurst on Friday. Vermont won in its lone contest, taking down Quinnipiac on Saturday 15-8. UAlbany came up short against UMass 15-9, while Brown took down Bryant 17-6. Up Next: This week UMass Lowell faces UMass and NJIT hosts Monmouth on Tuesday. Saturday UMBC travels to face Hofstra, while Bryant is at St. John’s. The Catamounts play at UMass and UAlbany hosts Hobart. #AEMLAX Weekly Award Winners – Mar. 2 Offensive Player & Rookie of the Week Zack Toll, Vermont – Fr., Attack, Oshawa, Ontario Recorded eight points on five assists and three goals in a 15-8 win over Quinnipiac. Added two ground balls in the victory. This is Toll’s second #AEMLAX Rookie of the Week honor. Defensive Player of the Week Dante Marinello, UMBC – Sr., Defense, Watchung, N.J. Finished with four caused turnovers, three ground balls and one goal in a 1-1 week. Had one goal, three ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 7-4 win over Mount St. Mary’s. This is Marinello’s first #AEMLAX Defensive Player of the Week honor this season. Goalkeeper of the Week Connor Winters, Binghamton – Gr., Goalkeeper, Webster, N.Y. Had 11 saves and two ground balls in a 12-6 victory over Mercyhurst. Made 6 saves in the second half without allowing a goal. This is Winter’s second #AEMLAX Goalkeeper of the Week honor. Face-Off Specialist of the Week Walter Zhao, Vermont – Jr., Face-Off, Millstone, N.J. Won 16 of 21 face-offs with 10 ground balls in a 15-8 win over Quinnipiac.
