BOSTON – Conference play began last week with Bryant taking two of three games from Binghamton in the first league set of the series.
In non-conference action, UMass Lowell went 4-2 while UMBC went 3-2. Six of America East’s seven baseball programs picked up wins over the weekend.
The first full weekend of conference play takes place this weekend with UAlbany visiting NJIT, Binghamton hosting UMass Lowell and Maine vising UMBC.

Player of the Week
Ehi Okojie, UMBC – Sr., Outfielder, Ellicott City, Md.
- Hit .400 with four doubles and an 1.250 OPS in a 3-2 week for UMBC.
- Drove in 10 runs and scored six.
- This is Okojie’s first #AEBASE Player of the Week honor of the season.
Pitcher of the Week
Nolan Geisner, UMass Lowell – So., Pitcher, Bayonne, N.J.
- Threw eight scoreless innings over three appearances, going 2-0.
- Gave up only two hits and one walk and fanned three.
- This is Geisner’s first #AEBASE Pitcher of the Week honor of the season.
Rookie of the Week
Cal Chance, UMass Lowell – Fr., Util., Wolcott, Conn.
- Hit .375 (9-for-24) in a 4-2 week for UMass Lowell.
- Scored four runs and drove in three.
- This is Chance’s first #AEBASE Rookie of the Week honor.
