New Hampshire Picked First in 2025 Women’s #AEXC Preseason Poll

BOSTON – After claiming the 2024 #AEXC Title, New Hampshire women’s cross country has been selected first in the 2025 Women’s #AEXC Preseason Poll as announced by the conference on Tuesday morning.
 
Last year the Wildcats earned their first #AEXC crown since 2019 with a 21-point victory and this season they took home six first place votes en route to 62 points. Bryant finished second in the preseason poll with one first place vote and 50 points after taking fourth in last year’s championship.
 
Binghamton, who won the title in 2023, was selected third with 48 points and a first place vote. UMass Lowell has finished in the top three each of the past five years, including second last year, was picked fourth with 47 points and one first place vote. Maine took fifth with 37 points, while Vermont place six with 32 points.

The 2025 season begins on Friday, as UMBC, Maine and NJIT are all in action. On Saturday, UAlbany, New Hampshire, Binghamton, UMass Lowell and Vermont open their seasons. Bryant starts the following Saturday.
 
This year’s #AEXC Championship will hosted by UMass Lowell on Friday, October 31 at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H. The championship will be broadcast live once again in 2025.
