BOSTON – All nine #AEWSOC teams were in action this week as the regular season hits full stride, highlighted by NJIT securing a pair of victories to improve to 2-1.

- NJIT earned the sweep this week, taking down UMass 3-0 on Thursday before securing its first road win against Marist, 3-2. Briana Andreoli, who America East Offensive Player of the Week honors this week, broke the program's Division 1 program record for points with her goal in the 33rd minute to help push NJIT past Marist Sunday afternoon.
- Binghamton took down St. Bonaventure, 2-1, on opening night at the Bearcats Sports Complex, thanks to a pair of goals by Jahkaya Davis, before falling to Monmouth on Sunday.
- UMBC went 1-1 last week. The Retrievers managed to slow down one of the highest scoring teams in the nation, but ultimately fell 1-0 to host Maryland on Thursday but returned to the field Sunday to post a 5-0 win over Iona.
- New Hampshire and Bryant each earned draws this week. New Hampshire looks for their first win of the regular-season at Holy Cross this week while Bryant takes on Northeastern Thursday.
- Two-time defending champion Maine fell 3-1 to Boston U on Sunday and plays at Merrimack and Army this week.
- Madison Hnis scored twice for UAlbany last week and joins Davis as the league's co-leaders with two goals scored.
- All nine teams will take the field this week, starting with NJIT, which looks to extend its win streak to three games when it hosts Lehigh on Wednesday.

Offensive Player of the Week
Briana Andreoli, NJIT – Sr., Forward, Hawthorne, N.J.
- Recorded four points in two NJIT wins.
- Posted two assists in NJIT’s 3-0 win over UMass Amherst.
- Scored her first goal of the season Sunday against Marist, breaking the Division I program record with 34 career points.
- This is Andreoli’s second career #AEWSOC Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Defensive Player of the Week
Sara Gavagan, UMBC – Sr., Goalkeeper, Irvington, N.Y.
- Allowed just one goal and made a pair of saves in 1-0 loss to Maryland.
- Made a season high five saves in 45 minutes in a win over Iona on Sunday.
- Currently second in America East with a .909 save percentage.
- This is Gavagan’s first career #AEWSOC Defensive Player of the Week honor.
Rookie of the Week
Olivia Nardone, UMBC – Fr., Defender, Millersville, Md.
- Scored her first career goal in a 5-0 win over Iona on Sunday.
- Made a pair of slide tackles to help keep Iona off the board.
- This is Nardone’s first career #AEWSOC Rookie of the Week honor.
