BOSTON – America East Commissioner Brad Walker announced today that veteran staff members Ben Stockwell and Sierra Whitlock have both received promotions ahead of the 2025-26 academic year.
“Ben and Sierra have both made countless contributions to our conference staff and positively impacted our member institutions, particularly our student-athletes,” said America East Commissioner, Brad Walker. “They are both well deserving of their promotions and we look forward to their continued commitment to the conference and its member schools.”
Stockwell, who joined the conference staff in May, 2022 as Director, Communications & Digital Media has been promoted to Sr. Director. In his role, Stockwell oversees the league’s day-to-day communications and overall digital strategy among other duties.
Whitlock enters her fifth year on the conference staff and has been elevated to Director, Championships and Operations. Her third promotion since joining the conference in 2021, Whitlock helps lead all aspects of the conference’s internal operations, including sport administration, championship oversight and business operations.
