BOSTON – Two weeks into #AEMLAX play there are two teams left unbeaten. Binghamton and UMBC both posted wins last week to improve to 2-0 while Vermont picked up its first league win.
The Retrievers fought back from a six-goal third quarter deficit beat UAlbany 13-12 in overtime on Tyler Barnett’s extra-time score. The Bearcats held NJIT to just four goals, the fewest they’ve allowed in a game since 2017, in a 9-4 win. The Catamounts edged out Bryant, 16-12, behind six goals from Max Frattaroli.
This week, conference play continues with another three-game slate as Bryant hosts UMBC, UMass Lowell visits UAlbany and NJIT welcomes Vermont.
