Dancing Dogs! Bryant Men's Basketball to Face Michigan State in NCAA First Round

For the second time in program history, but the first as a member of America East, Braynt is going dancing! The America East champion Bulldogs will face Michigan State in the first round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament on Friday.

Bryant (23-10) earned a No. 15 seed in the East Region and will meet the No. 2 Spartans at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. The game will tip at 10 p.m. and be televised nationally on TBS.

The Bulldogs secured their first-ever America East title on Saturday with a 79-59 win over Maine at home to complete a title sweep after also winning the league's regular-season title. Bryant has won 17 of its last 19 games.

Michigan State (27-6) is making its 27th-straight tournament appearance after winning the B1G regular-season title. 

America East teams have won nine NCAA games all-time, including UMBC’s historic upset of Virginia in 2018.
