Vermont 60, New Hampshire 40 – Box Score The Catamounts led just 24-23 at the half but used some hot shooting and a stifling defense to take control over the final 20 minutes as they outscored UNH by 19 points. TJ Hurley led a balanced offense with 17 points, four rebounds and three steals while Nick Fiorillo added 14 points. Binghamton 87, UMBC 82 – Box Score It was a back-and-forth affair as the game featured ten ties. The Bearcats led by one at the break, but trailed 67-65 with seven minutes left. They retook the lead and held off a late surge to secure the win with clutch free throws. Gavin Walsh had 18 points and 17 rebounds while Chris Walker supplied 21 points as all five starters reached double figures. Bryant 81, Maine 55 – Box Score The Bulldogs led just 23-22 with seven minutes left in the half but finished the period on a 15-3 run. The lead climbed as high as 30 points multiple times over the last 20 minutes as Bryant cruised to the win. Earl Timberlake had 18 points, 13 rebounds while Barry Evans added 18 points, eight boards and four steals. UMass Lowell 73, UAlbany 69 – Box Score Saturday’s nightcap featured 14 lead changes and 11 ties, and came down to the final minute of play. The hosts of UAlbany led 37-33 at the half but the River Hawks stormed back to take the lead in the second. The score was tied 69-69 in the final minute before Quinton Mincey made a go-ahead layup with 29 seconds left. UAlbany missed their next shot as UML held on. Four River Hawks scored in double figures, including Mincey who had 16 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
