UMBC and NJIT are the lone #AESD teams competing this weekend, while VMI has a midweek meet next tuesday. The 2025 conference championship is less than a month away and is set to begin on Wednesday, Feb. 19. 2024-25 #AESD Weekly Award Winners – Jan. 28 Female Swimmer of the Week Amanda Witkus, Bryant– So., Uxbridge, MA Swam a program-record 1:58.49 in the 200 yard fly to touch the wall first in the meet against BU Female Diver of the Week Grace Blume, New Hampshire– So.., Dedham, Mass Swept the diving events in New Hampshire’s win over conference-rival Maine, scoring 272.55 in the 1-meter dive and 286.95 in the 3-meter. Female Rookie of the Week Nicol Davanzo, UMBC – Fr., Szombathely, Hungary Won the 50 fly ( 25.48), placed second in the 100 fly ( 55.96) and recorded two fourth place finishes swimming 2:07.35 in the 200 fly and 24.73 in the 50 free. Male Swimmer of the Week Harrison Lambert, Binghamton– So., Scarsdale, N.Y. Won the 400 IM ( 3:58.18), 200 Fly (1:51.67), and 500 free ( 4:34.56) as the Bearcats defeated Marist Male Diver of the Week Isaac Poole, UMBC– Gr., Shoreline, WA. Earned first-place finishes in both the one-meter (342,75) and three-meter (342.75) diving events. Male Rookie of the Week Evan Peters, Binghamton– Fr., Rush, N.Y.
