Jan. 30 Bryant at UMBC Men's #AEHoops Matchup to Air on ESPNU

BOSTON – Conference play in America East is underway and in a little over two weeks, fans across the country will be able to watch #AEHoops on ESPNU. ESPN has chosen the Bryant at UMBC matchup on Jan. 30 to air nationally on ESPNU. Tip time is 7 p.m.
 
This will mark the 18th-consecutive season that a men’s #AEHoops regular-season game will air on ESPNU. 
 
The matchup will feature two of the league's highest-flying offenses. UMBC and Bryant ranks first and third in America East respectively, averaging 83.4 and 82.1 points per game. Bryant (8-9, 2-0 AE) is the lone unbeaten remaining in conference play. The Bulldogs beat reigning league champion Vermont by 20 points on Saturday. UMBC (9-8, 1-1 AE) is coming off of comeback win vs. NJIT in which it put up 87 points and outscored the Highlanders by 30 after halftime. 

The game will feature three of the league's top four scorers and four of the top eight. Bryant's Rafael Pinzon ranks second averaging 17.4 points while his teammate Earl Timberlake is fourth at 16.1 points per game. UMBC's Bryce Johnson ranks third (16.9 ppg) and Marcus Banks is ninth (14.4 ppg)

Conference play continues with eight more games this week. Fans can watch all this weekend's action on ESPN+, in the United States. Games will also be available internationally on AmericaEast.TV. Those games will be available on computers, OTT devices and the brand new America East app, which is available on all IOS and Android devices and can be found by searching ‘America East Conference’ in app stores.
