BOSTON – The 2024-25 America East league slate is just three dates in and parity is already apparent. Seven of the nine teams are either 2-1, 1-1 and 1-2 just three games in. Bryant won its lone game of the week last week and is the only unbeaten team left. All America East games can be watched on ESPN+.

Thursday's recap
- Bryant used a 23-2 run bridging the first and second halves to down reigning champs Vermont, 73-53, in its lone game of the week. The win was the Bulldogs first over Vermont since joining the conference in 2022.
- Vermont earned a split last week as it knocked off UMass Lowell, 67-63, on Thursday.
- Maine swept both of its games last week, beating Binghamton and UAlbany. Kellen Tynes averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 assists and 5.5 steals to lead the way. He earned America East Player of the Week honors as a result.
- UAlbany, Maine, UMBC and UNH all earned their first league wins. The Great Danes held off UNH, 67-63, on Thursday. THe Wildcats then beat Binghamton, 79-72, on Saturday. UMBC outscored NJIT by 30 points in the second half in an 87-64 win on Thursday to claim its first win.
- UMass Lowell also won last week to improve to 13-5 overall by beating NJIT, 70-62, on Saturday.

- Maine visits NJIT in a matinee Education Day game at 11am to kick off Thursday's action.
- Bryant hosts UMass Lowell on Saturday in a rematch of last year's America East semifinal.

- Averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 assists, 5.5 steals and 3.0 rebounds in a 2-0 week for Maine.
- Had 25 points, six assists and six steals in a win over Binghamton on Thursday.
- Contributed 10 points, seven assists and five steals in a win over UAlbany on Sunday,
- This is Tynes’ second #AEHoops Player of the Week honor of the season.
Rookie of the Week
Ari Fulton, NJIT – Fr., Guard, Fayetteville, N.C.
- Averaged a double-double of 10.5 points and 11.0 rebounds in two games last week.
- Picked up his second double-double of the season on Saturday at UMass Lowell, finishing with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
- Also had 11 points and nine boards Thursday vs. UMBC.
- This is Fulton’s first career #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor.
