BOSTON – This past week Maine, UAlbany, UC Davis and New Hampshire all went 2-0 last week as five different programs are at least .500 overall.
Need to Know:
- The Black Bears are a league-best 4-1 after a pair of home wins last week. They took down Hofstra 3-1 and then shut out Central Michigan 2-0.
- No. 19 UAlbany was dominant in an 8-0 win over Merrimack and then edged Cornell 3-2 in a stroke-off after playing 80 minutes deadlocked at 2-2.
- New Hampshire earned its first two wins of the year, shutting out Quinnipiac 4-0 and Lafayette 3-0 this past week.
- UC Davis improved to 2-1 with two victories last weekend, edging Northeastern 3-2 and then shutting out Kent State 2-0 on Sunday.
- No. 20 UMass Lowell went 2-2, beating Brown 3-2 and falling to Bucknell 2-0.
- There are 11 #AEFH contests this coming week, highlighted by New Hampshire traveling to No. 6 Iowa and Maine playing at No. 17 Boston College on Friday afternoon.
- No. 19 UAlbany faces off against Harvard on the road and then hosts Drexel on Sunday, while UC Davis faces former #AEFH foes Stanford and Cal.

Offensive Player of the Week
Alison Smisdom, UAlbany – Sr., Midfield, Antwerp, Belgium
- Recorded three goals in two wins, including the game-winner in a shootout after two overtimes in a win against Cornell.
- Scored the game-winning goal in a shootout against Cornell and also added three defensive saves in the contest, including one in double overtime to preserve the tie.
- This is Smisdom’s fifth career #AEFH Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Defensive Player of the Week & Rookie of the Week
Abby Johnson, New Hampshire – Fr., Goalkeeper, Walpole, Mass.
- Went 2-0 with a 0.00 GAA and nine saves in 120:00 for UNH last week.
- In first career start, made five saves in 4-0 shutout of Quinnipiac.
- Stopped four shots in a 3-0 shutout against Lafayette.
- This is Johnson’s first #AEFH Defensive Player or Rookie of the Week honor.
