14 #AEMLAX Standouts Playing PLL This Summer

BOSTON – Premier League Lacrosse is two weeks into the 2024 season and this year 14 former America East men’s lacrosse standouts are making their presence felt in the nation’s top professional lacrosse league.

UAlbany headlines the three schools with active PLL players, as seven former Great Danes can be found on five different PLL rosters. Jake Piseno is the newest member of the group, as the 2024 America East Defensive Player of the Year was drafted by the Outlaws last month and made his debut two weeks ago.

In addition to Piseno, Blaze Riorden, TD Ierlan and Ryland Rees also earned #AEMLAX Defensive Player of the Year honors. Former Tewaaraton Finalist and two-time #AEMLAX Offensive Player of the Year Connor Fields plays for the Archers. UVM’s Thomas McConvey and Ian MacKay also earned #AEMLAX OPOY honors in 2022 and 2016 respectively.

All eight PLL teams return to action this Saturday and Sunday at Villanova Stadium. McConvey and Rees of the Waterdogs play the Boston Cannons on ABC on Saturday, while the Redwoods and Atlas battle on Sunday afternoon on ABC.
