Eugene, OR - Three #AETF athletes traveled to the University of Oregon last week to compete in the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Ludith Campos of UAlbany earned Second Team All-America after finishing 15th in the women’s hammer throw. Campos broke UAlbany’s school record as well as the Dominican Republic national record with a personal best throw of 62.72m (205’ 9”).
Fellow Great Dane Amelia Benjamin also earned herself Second Team All-America accolades at the NCAA Championships last week after placing 15th in the women’s high jump, clearing a height of 1.77m (5’ 9.75”).
Maine’s Mackenzie Wilson also competed in the women’s hammer throw last Thursday at the NCAA Championships. She finished with a throw of 61.31m (201’1”) and earned honorable mention All-America honors after placing 20th.
