BOSTON – With just three weeks left in #AEMLAX play, there’s chaos atop the conference standings. Four teams are tied for first place, all at 3-1.
Bryant beat UAlbany, 14-13, to knock the Great Danes from the ranks of the unbeaten and make both teams 3-1. Binghamton and UMBC also moved to 3-1 with wins over Vermont and UMass Lowell, respectively.
All remaining games will be crucial as teams fight to finish in the top four and qualify for the 2024 America East Men’s Lacrosse Championship. This weekend, Merrimack hosts UMass Lowell on Friday while on Saturday Vermont visits Binghamton, NJIT welcomes UAlbany and Binghamton hosts UMBC.
The preseason poll was announced on January 16.
