Boston, MA - After many teams competing at Penn Relays and a few going to New Hampshire for the Pre-Conference Meet, teams are gearing up to travel to Baltimore for the 2024 Outdoor #AETF Championships. At Penn Relays we had 4 top-ten finishes in the College Championship Division, and 9 in the College Division placing in the top-10.
- Jordan Lindinger-Asamoah, NJIT - 4th in the triple jump
- UAlbany’s Travis Robinson, UAlbany - 10th in the discus as well as 6th in the shot put
- Leann Nicholas, UAlbany - 2nd in the triple jump
- Jewel Collins, UAlbany - 8th in javelin throw

Male Track Performer of the Week
Quincy Chery, UAlbany - So, Sprints/Hurdles, Middle Island, NY
- Chery finished 14th in the 400H at Penn Relays this weekend with a time of 52.84 in the College Division
Male Field Performer of the Week
Iosif Papa, UMBC - So., Throws, Nicosia, Cyprus
- Finished 4th place at Penn Relays in the College Championship Division in the discus with a toss of 182’6”
Female Track Performer of the Week
Amanda Chambers, UAlbany - Gr., Distance, Schenectady, NY
- Placed 11th in the 10,000m with a personal best time of 34:17.47. Chambers ranks 2nd in the conference and 3rd all-time in UAlbany’s history in the event
- Chambers also ran the second leg of the 4x800 relay helping lead the Great Danes to an 11th place finish in the college division with a 2:20.28 split
Female Field Performer of the Week
Ava Roberts, UMBC - Jr., Throws, Elkins Parks, PA
- Became the Penn Relays College Championship Division champion in the shot put with a distance of 54 '11.25". Roberts set a new UMBC record in the event and is ranked 32nd nationally.
- Roberts also earned herself a silver medal in the discus throw with another personal best throw of 165’2'' in the College Division. She is now ranked 1st in the conference in the event.
