Boston, MA - A busy week for all nine #AETF teams, with a lot of teams traveling this weekend. Many attended UCONN’s Northeast Challenge, the UMass Multis Meet, and the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton, with a few more meets scattered throughout the weekend.
This week is highlighted by many breaking more school records with Luke Marsanskis breaking Maine’s 5,000m record; Jacob Leigh of NJIT breaking the 200m record; UAlbany's Amelia Benjamin breaking the high jump record; Mackenzie Wilson breaking the hammer throw record at Maine; Kenzie Doyle breaking the 10,000m record for UMass Lowell; and Brian Luciano broke Binghamton’s hammer throw record and even broke into the East Region rankings being ranked 24th in the East Region.

Male Track Performer of the Week
Joseph Young, UMass Lowell - Sr., Distance, Dorchester, MA
- Took 5th in the 3,000 steeplechase with a personal best time of 8:51.45 at the Bryan Clay Invitational
- Young is ranked 15th in the NCAA after this weekend.
Male Field Performer of the Week
Travis Robinson, UAlbany - Sr., Throws, Kingston, Jamaica
- Took home gold in the discus with a personal best throw of 186’ 10”. Robinson broke his own school record and is ranked 36th nationally in the event
- Robinson also placed 2nd in the shot put with a toss of 58’ 6” at UCONN’s Northeast Challenge.
Female Track Performer of the Week
Kenzie Doyle, UMass Lowell - Gr., Distance, Swansea, MA
- In the 10,000m, Doyle placed 11th, running a personal best time of 33:21.23
- Doyle not only broke UMass Lowell’s school record but is also ranked 44th nationally after this weekend.
Female Field Performer of the Week
Mackenzie Wilson, Maine - Gr., Throws, Lasalle, Ontario
- Wilson finished 1st in the hammer throw with a distance of 209' 4".
- She broke Maine’s school record in the event and is ranked 19th in NCAA.
