UMass Lowell to Host & Kenzie Doyle to Compete at NCAA Indoor Championships

BOSTON, MA - For the first time in NCAA history, the Division I NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships will be hosted in the Northeast. The 2024 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships comes to the prestigious TRACK at New Balance located in Brighton, MA and is hosted by America East’s own UMass Lowell. The River Hawks, along with Boston College, were selected to co-host the 2024 national championship. The three-day event, beginning Thursday night, March 7th, will be streamed live on ESPN+, and runs through Saturday, March 9th. 
 
UMass Lowell’s own Kenzie Doyle will be competing in the 5,000m at the NCAA Championships. Kenzie returns to the national stage after competing in the Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 2023 in the 5000m. Doyle is scheduled to run Friday, March 8th at 8:20 p.m. in the single heat of the event. 
 
The graduate standout had broken her own school record in the 5k with a blazing time of 15:27.42 at BU Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, qualifying her for the NCAA Championships. Doyle has since maintained her success throughout the 2024 season being crowned the two-time America East Indoor Track and Field Champion in the 5,000m, and 3,000m events, as well as earning herself gold in the mile.
