General 3/1/2024 1:57:51 PM Five Upcoming ESPN Linear Broadcasts Announced America East basketball and lacrosse will be hitting the linear television airwaves soon as the conference will have five upcoming contests on ESPN2 or ESPNU over the coming months. For the first time, one of the America East men's basketball semifinals will air on ESPN2. That broadcast will be on Tuesday, March 9 at 5 p.m. with the site and matchup to be determined. Once again this season, both the men's and women's basketball championship games will be televised on ESPN networks. The women's title game takes place on Friday, March 15 at 5 p.m. and will air on ESPNU while the men's title is Saturday, March 16 at 11 a.m. For the second-straight season, both men's and women's lacrosse conference championship games will air on ESPNU. The men will decide the America East title on Saturday, May 4 at 3 p.m. while women battle on Sunday, May 5 at 10 a.m. "Our biggest games are deserving of the biggest stage," said America East Commissioner, Brad Walker. "We are excited for these five contests to air on ESPN networks in addition to ESPN+ in order to reach more college basketball and lacrosse fans."
