BOSTON – A pair of teams extended long win streaks last week as UMass Lowell and Binghamton both kept up their winning ways. Just a handful of non-conference games remain before league play begins on January 2.

- UMass Lowell beat both Stonehill and Boston University last week to extend its win streak to five games and improve to 10-4.
- Binghamton extended its win streak to six with victories over Mercyhurst and Army last week.
- The Bearcats’ six-game win streak is their longest since the 2017-18 season.
- Chris Walker’s layup at the buzzer gave the Bearcats a 62-60 win over Mercyhurst on Wednesday.
- The Black Bears’ Kellen Tynes ranks fourth in the nation averaging 3.1 steals per game.
- UMass Lowell's Max Brooks ranks second in the country in field goal percentage (.738) and 11th in blocked shots per game (2.5).
- Bryant’s Rafael Pinzon leads the league averaging 18.8 points per game.

Max Brooks, UMass Lowell – Sr., Forward, Waldorf, Md.
- Averaged 19.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 blocks in a 2-0 week.
- Shot 76 percent from the field (16-for-21).
- Had 18 points, six rebounds and three blocks in a win over Stonehill on Wednesday.
- Scored 20 points and added seven boards and a career-best six assists in a win over Boston U. on Saturday.
- This is Brooks' second-straight #AEHoops Player of the Week honor of the season.
Rookie of the Week
Martin Somerville, UMass Lowell – Fr., Guard, Bowie, Md.
- Averaged 16.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week.
- Had a game-high 22 points and made six three-pointers off the bench in a win over Boston U on Saturday.
- This is Somerville's sixth #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor this year.
