BOSTON – UAlbany stayed perfect with a pair of victories last week, while Binghamton also won twice, and Bryant extended its win streak to three.
The Week That Was
- The Great Danes are 7-0 and one of just 23 remaining unbeaten teams in the nation after taking down RPI and Stonehill last week. Lilly Phillips poured in 24 points in the victory.
- Binghamton stretched its win streak to three by winning 68-58 at Canisius and then dispatching Patriot League preseason favorite Loyola 62-46 at home on Saturday.
- Bryant is now 7-1 after shooting past Yale 67-52 this past weekend and are off to their best start as a Division I program.
- UNH took down Dartmouth in a 1-1 week, led by Eva DeChent’s 34 points as the sophomore matched her career high set earlier this year.
- Maine sophomore Caroline Dotsey had 37 career points entering the week, but went off for 26 in a win over Stonehill and then added 17 more against Indiana as the Black Bears went 1-1 last week.
- Vermont and UMBC also went 1-1 last week.
Looking Ahead
- There are just 11 games on the schedule this week, highlighted by Maine playing at Purdue on Wednesday.
- UAlbany plays at Siena with the Albany Cup on the line in its only contest, while Bryant welcomes Marist.
- New Hampshire faces a tough test against Army, while Binghamton plays at Buffalo and NJIT hosts Coppin State on Tuesday.
- Maine travels to Bucknell and then hosts Manhattan, while UMBC faces Towson and Saint Francis.
By the Numbers
- Kayla Cooper is averaging a league-best 19.6 points per game, followed by Alejandra Zuniga (19.0) and Eva DeChent (18.8).
- UAlbany ranks fifth nationally in free throw percentage at 82.4 percent and 36th nationally shooting 37.0 percent from three.

- Averaged 24.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in a 1-1 week.
- Tied a career high with 34 points, six rebounds and two blocks in a seven-point win over Dartmouth.
- This is DeChent’s first career #AEHoops Player of the Week honor.
Rookie of the Week
Abby Misier, Binghamton – Fr., Center, Hightstown, N.J.
- Averaged 6.0 points and 1.5 rebounds per game while shooting 5-for-8 in a pair of victories.
- Finished with eight points, two rebounds and one steal as Binghamton downed Patriot League preseason favorite Loyola, 62-46.
- This is Misier’s first career #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor.
