BOSTON – Following the program’s first #AEVB Championship since 2018, the New Hampshire women’s volleyball program will tread west to battle No. 3 Seed Arizona State on Friday at 8 p.m. (ET).

The Wildcats (18-9) have won three straight, six of seven and only dropped five total sets over that span. They’ll have their hands full against the No. 3 seed Sun Devils. They are 29-2 this season and went 17-1 in the Big 12 to win the regular season title in their most recent match. The winners of Friday’s match will play Saturday against either Texas A&M or Colorado State.

Arizona State was ranked No. 8 nationally in the most recent AVCA poll and has won 17 straight matches. The team’s only losses during the regular season were a 3-0 sweep at the hands of No. 5 Nebraska and a 3-1 loss to Baylor.

UNH doesn’t have any common opponents with the Sun Devils this season, but is 1-2 against Power 4 opponents. The Wildcats beat Maryland 3-2, but lost 3-2 at LSU and then 3-2 at Texas A&M. They are seeking the league’s first NCAA Tournament victory since 2007 on Friday.
