Women's Volleyball 12/18/2024 11:00:00 AM Ilieva Secures AVCA All-America Honors BOSTON – Binghamton’s Tsvetelina Ilieva concluded an impressive career by earning American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Honorable Mention All-America honors for the third straight season, as announced on Wednesday. Ilieva is the first three-time All-American in league history. This year she led Binghamton to its second regular season championship in the past three years and a 19-10 overall record, which included victories over Boston College and Rutgers She led the league and ranked 11th nationally in both kills per set (4.73) and points per set (5.46). Her 535 total kills ranks 11th in league history, but is the highest total for any #AEVB player since 2007. In just three seasons as a Bearcat she finished with 1,309 kills.
